The news from the Red River Valley is bad. Our hearts go out to those who are working day and night to prevent a major flood. I can’t imagine a more disheartening circumstance, with blizzards followed by melt followed by rain, and now more ice and snow and the threat of historic high water. We hold these people in our prayers, and thank those who are able to run up there and help. I know several people from St. Mark’s who either go to school in the Fargo area or who have gone to render aid. May God help them all.
